The Ronald H. Brown Center for Civil Rights and Economic Development (“The RHB Center”) is currently seeking outstanding candidates to apply for the position of Research Professor and Senior Fellow of the RHB Center.  The position is a two-year appointment to begin in August 2012.

The Research Professorship program provides aspiring legal academics from groups that traditionally have not been represented in legal academia with an invaluable opportunity to begin their careers in a supportive environment dedicated to their development as scholars, teachers, and leaders on issues of racial, social, and economic justice.  In 2006 St. John’s University School of Law created the position of Research Professor and Senior Fellow of the RHB Center in recognition of its obligation to develop new scholars and teachers and in furtherance of its Vincentian mission to serve underrepresented groups.
