Join us for the first of four free professional development roundtable workshops designed as a follow up to the PALS Retreat for New Associates of Color.

ANATOMY OF A DEAL:
CORPORATE & FINANCE AGREEMENTS
The program will be an informal working dinner to provide first-year transactional law firm associates with a general introduction to the basic materials that typically document a financing transaction. Presenters will review the various components of a deal by examining a sample closing checklist and explore deal timing and sequencing. Participants will gain a basic familiarity with deal documentation, better understand their roles as junior transactional associates and learn how to maximize efficiency to deliver their best work product. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions and network with experienced attorneys about thriving in a transactional law firm department.

Please Note - Associates who have not yet had to choose between corporate or litigation practice are welcome to attend the dinners for both practice areas.  Also, please let us know if there is anything specific you would like to be addressed during the follow up practice area dinners.

*CLE Accreditation is currently being sought for this program

Please Note: This program is open to first year associates presently in law firms only.
