JDDIVERSITY.COM is a new website that promotes diversity in the legal profession by bringing minority and female law students, attorneys, professors, and judges together. 

Besides being the first-ever social network for minority lawyers and law students, the site provides nationwide job listings, fellowship listings, blogs, articles, an event calendar, and a discussion forum. These services keep members updated on key information to enhance their professional experiences.

Lawyers and law students are able to use the social networking community to connect with colleagues and potential mentors.

Members can easily find out their colleagues' practice areas and provide each other with professional support (thereby fostering a closer-knit community). Law students and attorneys can create profiles with their photos within the Community section and highlight their recent publications and activities via status updates. Members can also create groups on JDDIVERSITY.COM and use these groups' walls and discussion post features to reach all group-members in a highly-efficient fashion.
