Do you know how to present yourself effectively and successfully? This workshop is designed to help law students of color prepare for the fall recruiting season by identifying the key aspects of an interview that legal employers look and listen for when they interview law students for positions as summer associates, interns and clerks.  The program will also offer participants the opportunity to participate in mock interviews and receive critical feedback on interviewing skills. Learn how to communicate who you are, to give yourself the best opportunity to secure your next job in the legal field.

Event Timeline:
 

4:30 – 5:15pm - Student interview#1

5:15 – 6:00pm - Student interview #2

6:00 – 7:00pm  Cocktail Reception 

Student Interviewees:
 
Students must arrive promptly at 3:00pm  in business attire.
 
1) Students will be required to RSVP in advance and bring several copies of their resume and transcript.  Students must RSVP to participate in the interviews. Priority will be given to students have joined PALS via the PALS website: www.palsprogram.org.  
2) Students must attend the entire hiring panel to participate in the interviews.
