Mr. Doyle’s mergers and acquisitions experience includes public and private transactions, negotiated acquisitions and contested takeovers, joint ventures and other corporate transactions. He has been involved in a number of significant transactions, including:
- The Coca-Cola Company’s acquisitions of the North American business of Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc., Energy Brands Inc. and Fuze Beverages LLC; its equity investment in Honest Tea, Inc.; and the sale of its 51 percent stake in Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, Inc. to Coca-Cola FEMSA, S.A.B. de C.V. (Mexico);
- Joh. A. Benckiser Group’s acquisition of Peet’s Coffee & Tea, Inc. and Caribou Coffee Company, Inc.;
- Stanley Black & Decker, Inc.’s acquisition of Infastech, a manufacturer of mechanical fasteners;
- Epoch Holding Corporation’s acquisition by The Toronto-Dominion Bank;
- BlackRock, Inc.’s acquisition of Barclays Global Investors and its acquisition of the hedge fund of funds business of Quellos Holdings, LLC;
- Fisher Scientific International Inc.’s merger with Thermo Electron Corporation;
- Aviall, Inc.’s sale to The Boeing Company;
- Daimler-Benz AG’s merger with Chrysler Corporation;
- DISH Network’s acquisition of DBSD North America, Inc. in connection with DBSD’s plan of reorganization;
- Deutsche Bank AG’s acquisition of Dresdner Bank AG’s global agency securities
