Bryna Beckler-Knoll, Esq. is a Senior Manager–Attorney Recruiting & Diversity in the New York office of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP where she manages all aspects of attorney recruiting, professional development, diversity and women's initiatives. She is a member of Akin Gump's firmwide and local Diversity Committees and a member of the NY office's Women's Initiative and Working Parents Initiative.
Ms. Beckler-Knoll has over 19 years of experience in the field having also been the Director of Recruitment and Professional Development at Parker Chapin as well as Jenkins & Gilchrist. Prior to her transition into legal recruiting, Ms. Beckler-Knoll was a corporate associate at Parker Chapin Flattau & Klimpl focusing on mergers and acquisitions and securities transactions.
Ms. Beckler-Knoll received a B.S. in Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University and a J.D. from Hofstra Law School, where she was a Member and Staff Editor of the Hofstra Law Review. In addition, she received a Diversity and Inclusion Management Certificate from Cornell University through the University's Human Capital Development Program. She has spoken on a number of panels on recruiting and diversity and is a member of the Bar of the State of NY, the National Association of Law Placement, the NYC Bar Association Diversity Pipeline Initiatives Committee, the NYC Bar Association Enhance Diversity in the Profession Committee, the New York City Recruitment Association, the Professional Development Consortium, the Association of Law Firm Diversity Professionals as well as a member of the Board of Directors of PALS (Practicing Attorneys for Law Students Program).
